is remy hair versus non-remy hair?
Remy hair is collected from
the temples in India and care is taken to
ensure that all of the cuticles are all in
place and aligned. This ensures a chemical-free
and non tangling product, and is the more
expensive choice of hair. Non-remy hair is
collected from salons in India, and while
the quality of hair is assured, the cuticle
alignment is not guaranteed. As a result,
non-remy hair goes through a process that
removes the cuticle and is sealed in a silicone
covering to ensure no tangling. Non-remy hair
is the cheaper of the two types of hair choices.
Do
you carry ‘costume’ hair for temporary
use?
Costume hair is used for temporary
hair looks and are not made from human hair.
This kind of hair is not to be altered in
any way and carries no guarantee. We carry
a full line of costume hair.
What
is single drawn hair?
Single drawn hair has a very
natural finish to the ends of the strands.
The strand tapers towards the end; this is
the hair recommended when desiring a natural
finish to the chosen style.
What
is double drawn hair?
Double drawn hair has the
same density at the ends of the hair strand
as the top of the hair strand. This keeps
the density the same from top to bottom; it
is the recommended hair type to install when
desiring a full and solid finish to the bottom
of the chosen style.
Can
I chemically alter my hair extensions?
All of our hair products are
created with the best of care taken to ensure
color and texture longevity. It is recommended
that you choose the color or texture from
our selection to best suit your needs. Only
a professional stylist should address the
chemical changes desired on remy hair; it
is not recommended to chemically alter non-remy
hair. Any of our hair products that are chemically
altered from their original state will void
the guarantee.
How
are the hair extensions attached to my hair?
Our hair strands are tipped
with the best of keratin to ensure a perfect
and natural hold.
Are
my extensions easy to care for?
Absolutely; using care in
product choice, and diligent handling, your
extensions will remain shiny and healthy looking
for up to 12 months.
Can
anyone see that I am wearing extensions?
Installed by one of our certified

blend perfectly with your own hair.
Can
I buy bulk hair?

do I determine the length of hair I require?
Assuming individual at an
average height at 5' 6".
- 14" will come below your neck.
- 18" well below your shoulder/mid back.
- 22" will be just above your waist.

How
long do permanent extensions last?
About 3 months, till your
hair grows.
Can
permanent extensions be re-installed?
Yes permanent extensions can
be re-installed. The stylist will have to
remove the extension, cut the old tip, make
a new tip with our Keratin and re bond it
to the hair.
Can
clip hair be styled, removed and stored?
Yes clip hair can be styled,
removed and stored. The stylist can style
the clip on's according to your preference.
They can be removed at night and be stored
for future use. These can also be re installed
at home. However, we would recommend to get
them re-installed by a professional stylist
only. Make sure to install at same head locations,
so that the styling remains the same. Various
colors can be purchased to mix and match.

Remy
hair extensions
Whether you are wearing your
remy hair extensions on your head with fusion
tips or with clips, the care of these kinds
of extensions are the same. Remember that
remy hair is of the highest quality hair on
the market and therefore is in the best state
of health; this is how you want to keep your
extensions. When cleaning , conditioning and
styling your remy hair extensions, be sure
to follow the tips below:
- Be sure to choose a professional shampoo.
- When shampooing, be sure to keep hair
untangled (for fusion hair extensions,
wash hair with head tilted back) and uniform.
Do not rub or massage the hair; use a
squeezing motion to saturate the hair
with tepid water and shampoo.
- Rinse hair with care to avoid tangling.
Run tepid water from roots to ends, or
top to bottom.
- When choosing a conditioner, be sure
to purchase a moisturizing professional
product.
- Use a leave-in moisturizing spray conditioner
regularly when out in the wind or sun.
- Towel dry the hair by rolling it or
squeezing the water out. Never rub the
hair.
- It is best to air dry your extensions,
however, if you choose to blow dry your
hair, use an ion dryer as it will remove
the moisture faster and with less heat
damage.
- Never brush wet hair as it will break
the strands. Use a pic only.
- When battling any tangles, do so with
patience and diligence. Do not tear at
the tangle or force it out.
- When swimming, prepare your hair extensions
ahead of time by dampening the hair and
applying a light conditioner. This will
protect the hair from absorbing excessive
chlorine or salt water.
- When sleeping, swimming or exercising
always braid or wrap your hair to prevent
tangling.
- When styling fusion tipped hair with
hot tools, avoid close contact with the
keratin tips; the heat will soften the
tips and compromise the hold.
- When styling clip on hair extensions,
it is much easier to do so when the clips
are not yet installed.
